About 15 miles southwest of San Antonio, you’ll find Pizza Barn. This restaurant, which is quite literally a big red barn, has earned numerous awards and recognition for its quality pies. Start off with an appetizer – an order of green chile bread sticks, zucchini, or wings. Then chow down on a pizza and salad. They feature dozens of specialty pies. One that might be worth checking out is “The Range,” which includes fresh spinach, artichoke hearts, mozzarella and parmesan cheese, a bit of oregano with a olive oil base.
