Sunrise Manor
Sunrise Manor is a residential, family friendly neighborhood located 13 miles south of Apex. Shadow Rock Park is 24 acres of open space that provides playgrounds, picnic pavilions, ball fields, walking paths and a dog park! Fido is welcome to enjoy all areas of the park on-leash, but for off-leash play time, Shadow Ridge Dog Park is ideal! Amenities include shade shelters, shaded trees, benches, two areas for large and small dogs, and water spigots for your pooch to hydrate afterwards. The local PetSmart not only provides food, treats and toys, it also offers professional grooming for all dog breeds, sizes and age!

North Las Vegas
Approximately 15 miles from Apex, North Las Vegas offers a lot of shopping, dining, entertainment, and recreation for people and pups to partake in! Craig Ranch Regional Dog Park is comprised of two separate dog runs for large and small dogs, water fountain, and shade trees. Children’s Memorial Dog Park is a quaint off-leash, fenced-in dog park that has a separate enclosure for small dogs and one for large pups to ensure everyone has a good time! Sonic Drive In, Big Dog’s Draft House, and In-n-Out Burger are the dog-friendly eateries in the North Las Vegas neighborhood.24

Charlie Frias Park provides night lighting and three different play areas for dogs: one for pups under 25 lbs, and the other two are designated for dogs over 35 lbs. Pug Park is a dog park specifically for pugs that comes with an indoor and outdoor play area where all ages of pugs are welcome to socialize!
