Downtown
If you and Fido are looking to enjoy a walk (or a swim!), you're in the right place. The 25-acre Veterans Memorial Park is located here, and welcomes dogs as long as they are on a leash. There is a pond for fishing that your pup will love taking a dip in! Your canine pal will also enjoy exploring the grassy surface of the park and sniffing out the new terrain. The park offers some agility equipment for your pooch to play on, and there are a few trees for shade. Make sure to bring water and some doggie waste bags for clean-up since this isn't a dog park. Grab your pup’s leash and stop by for a pawesome time!

White Rock Canyon
If you and your pooch enjoy hiking, or even just walking while enjoying the outdoors, you won't want to miss The White Rock Canyon Trail. This 4-mile trail can get rocky and is narrow in spots, so always be aware of your surroundings. It is mainly a dirt-covered trail with no shade. You will need to bring plenty of water for you and your pooch, as it tends to get hot on the trail. Lace up your best walking shoes, grab Fido's leash, and see how much of the trail you two can tackle. The scenery is breathtakingly beautiful here, so you might want to bring a camera!

Lakeshore
This dog-friendly neighborhood is home to a pawesome trail converted from an old rail line by the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy. The Historic Railroad Hiking Trail is a 3.7-mile trail covered in dirt and/or gravel. There are a lot of sights to see here, and the ground is fairly level, making this a fairly easy hike. You'll even see a few caves, and your pup will love sniffing all of the new scents along the way! Be sure to bring a lot of water for you and your pup, as there is no shade along the trail. Oh, and keep Fido on a leash, too, since one is required here.

Sunhampton
This Las Vegas neighborhood is located about 25 miles from Boulder City, and is home to the Barkin’ Basin Dog Park at Wayne Bunker Park. This off-leash, fenced-in dog park sits inside the main park, which your pal will need to be on a leash to explore. There are two separate areas: one for smaller dogs, and one for larger dogs. Your pup will have a blast making friends at this park! There are also water fountains available for if your pooch gets thirsty. Shade trees and benches are provided for owners to take a break from the desert heat while they watch their canine pals play. This park has two pawesome perks: it's open from 7am until 10pm, and it's well-lit at night so you can walk anytime. Grab your pup’s favorite toy and enjoy a furrific day at this park!
