Rhodes Ranch
The neighborhood of Rhodes Ranch, on the southwest edge of Spring Valley, offers some pawsome opportunities for you and your pup. For a nice stroll, head over to Red Ridge Park and take advantage of the mile-long walking path. Make sure to keep your pooch on a leash that’s no longer than 6 feet. After a little exercise, treat Fido to a gourmet treat and preening at Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming. You can select from a range of spa treatments with a professional groomer or use the self-service area to give your furry friend a bath. Woof Gang provides all the supplies you’ll need to get your pal squeaky clean.

The Lakes
The Lakes, located in northern Spring Valley, features Old Spanish Trails Park. This pawtastic 10-acre park includes some nice walking trails for you and your pup to enjoy. Keep Fido on a leash up to 6 feet long while you explore this area. After you and your canine companion stretch your legs, head over to the MadHouse Coffee for some refreshment. Dogs are free to join their owners at the outdoor patio. While you enjoy a sandwich and macaroon with your coffee or tea, this pet-friendly restaurant will offer treats and water to your special friend. If you’re seeking heartier fare, Shawarma Vegas will also welcome your pooch at their outdoor seating area.

Spring Valley
Downtown Spring Valley is full of pupcredible adventure for you and fido. Share your fitness goals with your canine companion at Paws & Bootcamp. You’ll be able to go through a 30-minute circuit-training workout involving calisthenics and resistance bands while Fido completes an agility course by your side. Take your four-footed pal to Desert Breeze Dog Park for some canine socialization. With separate fenced areas for large and small dogs to run and play off-leash, your pooch can get some extra exercise. Both areas have benches, tables, and chairs to allow owners to sit and chat while their pups romp. If you have a pug, treat your pooch to some time with other pugs and puglets at this breed-specific indoor/outdoor park.

Summerlin South
Pups and their owners have a wonderful time when they head to Summerlin South. This neighborhood is just west of Spring Valley and borders Red Rock Canyon. Take advantage of the scenic drive and find a trail to explore in this puptastic national conservation area. Go camping at the Red Rock Canyon Campground or spend a day at Spring Mountain Ranch State Park with your pooch. Dogs are allowed as long as they’re on a leash no longer than 6 feet. After a day in the wilderness, stop off at Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar. This pet-friendly restaurant welcomes dogs at outdoor tables and offers a doggie menu for Fido’s refreshment.

Royal Ridge
For a smaller neighborhood that’s pawtacular, check out Royal Ridge. The area contains Charlie Frias Park. There are 3 off-leash dog areas in this park: one for smaller dogs and two for larger dogs. You can bring Fido here anytime from 6 AM until 11 PM. After dark, the areas are lit for the safety of you and your pooch. Let your pup play and romp with other canines, or leash up and walk the trails in the rest of the 32-acre park. Enjoy walking along the bluffs and rolling hills with stunning views of Red Rock Canyon, Spring Mountains, and Sunrise Mountain. If you’re just here visiting the Greater Las Vegas Area, Emerald Suites Cameron across the street from the Orleans Hotel and Casino welcomes dogs weighing up to 20 pounds.
