Hi there, my name is Mikayla I grew up partially in California and here in Nevada. I’ve always had pets since I can remember. There has never been a time in my life where we have not had a dog. I’m an absolute animal lover, I’ve worked at pet stores and I’ve also worked with bigger animals such as horses, cows, and chickens. I’m ver confident with being around animals no matter what size. I’m very excited to meet your animal and spend time with them!

Dog Walking in Blue Diamond

Near Las Vegas, Nevada is the census-designated place Blue Diamond. This small CDP has gorgeous views of the desert and provides you and your pup with a break from the overwhelming excitement of Vegas. In case of emergency, there are five animal hospitals within thirty minutes of Blue Diamond.

A thirty-minute drive will take you to the fenced, off-leash Kellogg Zaher Dog Park. The park features two areas for big dogs and an area for small dogs, all well-lit. The park also provides water and doggie waste bags.

Accessible year-round, man and his best friend are sure to get plenty of exercise here. You may even spot wildlife on this moderate loop trail! Remember to bring a leash and plenty of water.

If you and your pal are searching for a more challenging hike, look no further than the trail from White Rock Canyon to the hot springs of Hot Springs Canyon. The route is not accessible during the summertime due to extreme temperatures, so plan accordingly and remember to bring water for you and your pup. The area has plenty of outdoor activities for the two of you to enjoy!
