This dog-friendly neighborhood is about 23 miles from Blue Diamond, NV. It is home to the Barkin’ Basin Dog Park at Wayne Bunker Park. This is an off-leash dog park where your pooch can run free and have a good time. It is completely fenced in and has 2 separate areas for different sized dogs. This park also has good hours; it is open from 7am until 10pm. Another perk is that they provide lights at night. There are benches available and your pooch will like to explore on the soft grass and dirt terrain. There are water spigots and water fountains in case your pooch gets thirsty after a day of play. If it gets too hot, there are also plenty of trees for shade. You will just need to bring your own doggy bags.

Mount Charleston

If you and your pup want a break from the city, Mount Charleston is the pawfect place to go. It’s a little over an hour away from Blue Diamond, but the drive is worth it! The Red Rock Canyon National Conservation area has a lot of trails that are mainly dirt and rock. At this conservation site, dogs will need to be kept on their leash. Waste baggies are provided for clean-up. You will need to bring extra water for you and your pooch, since there is no shade or water available. Your pawesome pal will love exploring these trails, and most are about medium in difficulty. What are you waiting for? Grab your running shoes and hit the road!

Spring Valley

There's a great off-leash dog park in Spring Valley, which has separate areas for different sized dogs. The Desert Breeze Dog Park is only about 16 miles from Blue Diamond and is completely fenced in. In the separate area, there’s plenty of grass and sand for your pup to explore and play in. There are benches and chairs for you to sit and watch your pooch sniff around. Also, there are plenty of shaded areas if it gets too hot for you or your pooch. The park provides water bowls and spigots for your best furry friend. Grab your pooch and prepare for a paw-tastic time!

West Las Vegas

West Last Vegas is a great place to bond with your pooch. It’s a little over 30 minutes away from Blue Diamond. A nice park to visit is The Woofter Dog Park, which allows your canine companion to be off his leash. There will also be time for your fur baby to make friends, as a lot of locals visit this park with their dogs. The park is fully fenced in and has 2 separate areas available for small dogs and for larger dogs. There is a lot of green grass and drinking water is available for your pooch. After a long day of play, you and Fido can head into the center of Las Vegas for a well-deserved game of blackjack!

North Las Vegas

Northern Las Vegas is close enough to Blue Diamond that you and your pup can enjoy a day together. The Centennial Hills Dog Park is an off-leash park that is completely fenced in. This park is closed every Thursday morning for routine maintenance. Your pooch can explore the grassy, somewhat dirt-covered area and maybe even make a few new fur baby friends. If you worry about how your pooch will get along with others, there are 2 different sections: one for larger dogs and one for smaller dogs. There are shaded areas for owners to sit and chat while their pups play, and the park also offers water faucets for thirsty pups. You will have to bring your own waste bags, though. Grab your pup’s favorite toy and stop by this amazing park.
