Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar is a hungry doggy’s dream. As the name suggests, the restaurant has a fun and relaxed environment for humans and pups alike. The American eatery makes your pooch feel welcome at their dog-friendly porch seating and with their dog menu of rice, hamburger and grilled chicken. But don’t feel left out. Their people menu features a delicious variety of soups, salads, pizzas, noodle dishes, sandwiches, burgers and meat and vegetarian entrées. You also don’t want to forget their lunch specials their daily lunch specials and weekend brunch! They also have a full bar. Their hours are Monday through Friday 11 AM to midnight, Saturday from 10 AM to midnight and Sunday 9 AM to midnight.

Downtown

Take your pup to downtown Summerlin South for a casual shopping day! Many of the stores are pup-friendly, along with several of the restaurants. The common areas at the Towne Square offer water fountains and waste bags for your furry loved-one. The District, where most of the shopping takes place, includes stores that welcome your pup inside and might even offer a treat! Close by, Madhouse Coffee will supply your with your morning cup of java and will also give your pooch a treat. Nearby Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar features a doggy menu. Don’t forget to grab your fresh fruits and veggies at the farmer’s market open Saturdays from 9 AM to 2 PM!

Northwest Las Vegas

Echo Canyon-Fossil Ridge Loop is a great place to hike with your pup, just outside of the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas. The 4.5-mile trail will give you about 3 hours of quality time with your furry best friend and a chance to connect with nature. You’ll explore and witness the beauty of Red Rock Canyon and Blue Diamond Hill, both of which will give your fantastic views and encounters with different birds and other species. The trail gets moderately difficult in some parts but nothing extreme. There is parking at the trailhead. Just be sure to keep your pooch on a leash.

Peccole Ranch

In the mood for some authentic Mediterranean & Israeli food? After you and your pooch have shopped in downtown Summerlin South or finished a hike in the beautiful Red Rock Canyon, cruise down to Shawarma Vegas. It’s just a couple miles east of Summerlin South, and well worth the trip. Sit outside with your furry friend and start off your meal with falafel, Shawarma or a salad. Then dine on one of their classic entrees. Choose from a classic pita sandwich, French baguette -- stuffed with your choice of hummus, Israeli salad or tahini – or a lafa. And don’t forget dessert! Shawarma Vegas is open Sunday through Friday from 9 AM to 9 PM. Closed Sunday and for Jewish holidays.

Peccole Ranch

Rubio’s, just a neighborhood east of Summerlin South, is the place to go for a quick bite to eat with your pup. Sit outside at one of the dog-friendly tables and dine on some authentic Mexican cuisine. Choose from a vast menu of tacos, quesadillas, burritos, salads, nachos and bowls. They have options for vegetarians and meat-lovers alike, along with a menu for those who are particularly health-conscious. Try a Chipoltle ranch salad with grilled veggies or their all-natural steak tacos. Got a sweet tooth? Go for a caramel granache cookie or warm cinnamon churro.
