This village is a quiet place where you can get some serious rest and relaxation if you are visiting for a weekend. There is one animal hospital right in Palisades. There are also two other animal hospitals within thirty minutes of the center of town. All of the staff in these facilities are warm and inviting and will make sure your dog's needs are being met to the fullest, taking a lot of the pressure off of you during a stressful time. 

You will need to carve out a little time during your stay in Palisades to visit The Filling Station. This homey little spot is all outdoor, and dogs are always welcome. You can enjoy a burger with some delicious fries or an amazing deli sandwich. Ice cream and other homemade desserts are also a great choice for diners who stop by The Filling Station for a quick bite while out with their dogs. Your pooch will appreciate a harness instead of a collar if you are planning out a hike for the two of you. You will also need to bring plenty of waste bags with you as well as water for you and your dog.
