At 1.2 acres, there is plenty of room for everyone at the Brookdale Dog Park, and it has separate sections for big and small dogs along with a time-out area. If your dog likes to jump fences, you'll be glad to know this dog park has six-foot fences for the safety of all dogs. A 34-minute drive will get you from Tappan to Upper West Side, New York City, and the West 72nd Street Dog Run. This dog park is a little piece of paradise in a busy city, and it's perfect for exercising and socializing your dog. The West 72nd Street Dog Run has separate sections for big and small dogs, and there is plenty of seating to make sure humans enjoy their visit, too. The Pelham Bay Park Dog Run was one of the first dog parks to be built by the NYC Parks Department, and it has become a community hub for dogs and their owners to get out and meet new friends. This large dog park consists of almost three acres of prime running space for Rover, and it has a separate section (1/3 of an acre) for small dogs to play safely with dogs of similar sizes. You'll need to buy a permit to visit this park, but both you and your pup will be glad you did because there is plenty of fun to be had at Paws Place!
