Central Park Ridge

Central Park Ridge is the place to be if you need a great neighborhood for walking and snacking with your energetic companion. You and your dog are welcome at Yofresh Yogurt Cafe, where you can enjoy a frozen treat together at the outdoor seating area. Your dog will want to stay for hours if he thinks he can get more of that cold creamy goodness from you or another unsuspecting human! Just make sure you keep an eye on him for brain freeze, and keep plenty of clean-up bags with you just in case you have to take a quick loop around the block.

West Park Ridge

West Park Ridge is a quiet neighborhood in Park Ridge where your dog will fit right in! This area is full of brooks and streams where you can take your dog for a quick walk after a stressful day at work to get some air and clear your head. Your dog can roll around in the grass or splash in the waters of Bear Brook while you take some deep breaths and calm your mind before you head out on your next round of errands. You will need plenty of waste bags and clean towels to use before you head home.

East Park Ridge

East Park Ridge is a pawesome neighborhood just minutes from the center of town. Wood Dale Community Park is found right on the city line between Park Ridge and River Vale. There is plenty of room for your dog to run and make new friends at this charming green space. You will need to keep your dog on-leash and make sure he minds his best manners, as the park can get crowded during the spring and summer months. As long as your dog does well under the stress of making lots of new friends, you can spend hours in this doggy haven!

Central Woodcliff Lake

Woodcliff Lake is a short ten-minute drive from the center of Park Ridge. Your dog's tail will be all a wag when he realizes you are heading to the Woodcliff Lake Historic Park! This park is great for nature lovers, dog walkers, and history buffs. The park is full of trails, green grass, and historical markers for your entertainment and education as you make your way around the grounds. Your dog is welcome to roam with you as long as you keep him on a leash near your side (no retractable leashes, please!) and you are mindful to clean up after him.

South River Vale

South River Vale is a pleasant neighborhood just 8 minutes from Park Ridge. There are several parks for you and your pooch to choose from for your weekend adventures or a quiet and relaxing picnic together. Just grab your doggy travel bag complete with waste bags and plenty of drinking water and head over to Pascack Brook County Park. This park is a wonderful spot for you to enjoy plenty of fun in the sun with your dog and a bag full of tennis balls. You will want to keep some towels in your car for after your dog is finished splashing in the brook in the center of the park.
