Hi, I’m Bethany. I am a very active, nature and animal loving young adult. I have one child, one cat, one dog, and last but not least, one husband. I am a skilled homemaker, and I always devote myself to any task I take on. In my spare time, my family and I like to take walks through the park and creeks searching for artifacts and observing nature. I am dependable and trustworthy; you can always be sure your pet is safe and cared for when with me!
My name is Raven and I love spending my time with dogs! I grew up with a dog named Loki that was with me for 15 years. I now have Beans, a 7 year old shelter rescue and Collie mix that came from an abusive home. He brightens my day when I come home and see his excitement to go for a walk! I have volunteered at Animal Charity in the past as a dog walker.
Hi! I’m Searra and I absolutely love spending time with dogs and I have dog sat for many family members and friends over the past few years. These sittings would usually be a week to two weeks long. I preferred staying with the dogs because dogs seem to get lonely quicker than cats or any other pet. I would take the dogs out for walks and then play with them after! I’m in college right now for psychology and I’m currently enrolled in a course known as AAI which is animal assisted interventions. This gives me understanding on dogs stress signs and aggression signs, even the calming signs they portray. Along with that I volunteered at the Washington humane society for about 2 year. There I would take the dogs out to play and get some sun!
Hello! My name is Jessica and I am 22 years young. I have been living with dogs since I was 6 years old! I grew up with a border collie, and have lived with roommates who had different dogs, including a husky, a couple of yorkies, and a grayhound. I always loved to take these dogs out for walks and to play at the park! Im all about having fun and meeting new dogs!

I have been working with animals for around 4/5 years now. Ever since I turned 18 and people started to trust me with watching/ walking their animals. I've been working with Dogs for a while now and I'm very comfortable around them. No matter the breed or size, I love animals. I always put the animals first and make sure they have everything they need. Letting me walk your dog would be a win for you and your animal!
Hi..my name is Sam 28 yr old male. I have had dogs my entire life and enjoy staying active! I have a large fenced in back yard. The city of Canfield, Ohio rests beside the border between Ohio and Pennsylvania, just a one-hour drive from Pittsburgh. Canfield has a thriving community, and it was rated one of the top 100 places to live in the United States by MoneyMagazine. It is no surprise that travelers and their furrific friends can always find a place to stay and much to do in this great Ohio city.
While Canfield is a town on the smaller side, that doesn’t mean that you and your pet won’t be taken care of — there are three veterinary clinics on Main Street alone! There is a great selection of parks where you can enjoy the fresh air and meet friendly locals and their dogs: be sure to stop by Austintown and Mill Creek. There are also some dog-friendly restaurants in town as well, so you can rest assured that you won’t be hungry after all the activities you have planned!
It doesn’t matter if you want to get outside and explore with your dog or just hang back and immerse yourself in the close-knit, friendly culture of the Ohio Valley, there is something for everyone in Canfield, and you are sure to enjoy your stay in this fantastic town.
Main Street is a great place to begin exploring Canfield. It runs through the heart of town, and as you walk around, you will get a great feel for the city. Head to Greasel Park for a short stroll about the premises: you’re sure to bump into some locals and hear what’s going on in town. Head north up Youngstown-Salem Road to explore even more of the city or walk west through welcoming suburban neighborhoods filled with trees and small ponds. If you decide to go south, you’ll encounter Fair Park on Fair Street. This is a great, out-of-the-way spot to play fetch — or to rest your legs!
Follow Youngstown-Salem road north and you will reach North Canfield. Argus Park is a beautiful place to get some fresh air. Be sure to visit Austintown Township Park: the park has a fenced-in dog park with separate sections for large and small dogs, as well as agility equipment and an obstacle course! Canfield Community Park is another option for a walk outside, but your pup will have to stay their leash. When you’re done there you and your dog will probably have worked up quite the appetite, so head to the Phoenix Fire Grill and Bar with its six dog-friendly tables.
Travel a short six miles east of Canfield and you'll reach a small, inviting area called Boardman. Here, you will find many places to walk with your dog, and you can be sure you will meet other like-minded dog-lovers! Boardman Park is a great place to walk your dog on-leash, and it is also home to Paws Town Dog Park. This is a 3.25-acre off-leash park with separate areas for large and small dogs, but it does require a membership to use. Also, be sure to stop by the scenic Poland Village Park for a stroll past picturesque bluebells and other flora maintained by the community.
A ten-mile trip south of Canfield brings you to Columbiana, an ideal Ohio setting with a truly small-town feel. Firestone Park is a great place to take a leisurely walk. Its walking trails will take you past the beautiful Mirror Lake, and the premises spans 68 acres. The local community also maintains the Celebration of Life Garden, which has beautiful flower beds — it is located along the walking trail, so you can’t miss it! Also, be sure to stop by Shellabella’s on South Main Street where you and your dog can enjoy a casual, American-style meal at one of the outdoor tables.
Salem rests about ten miles southwest of Canfield and is a must-visit if you are traveling through this part of Ohio. Beaver Creek Greenway captures the beautiful scenery of this part of the country — it is a former rail line that has been repurposed into a hiking trail by the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy. Centennial Park is another great place to take an afternoon stroll with a furry companion. It is just east of the Salem Parks & Recreation Department on State Street, another good place to check out if you’re looking for information on local events or pawesome places to go with your dog!
