This lady seems to be a very sweet and genuine lady. My boxers LOVED her! There s areas of our lives that we really cannot afford to trust just anyone, and one of those areas for me is with my fur babies. I ve been battling some pretty serious health issues and I ve had a lot of sleepless nights just watching them sleep and in this day and age with people being so internally ugly and heartless, I ve been pretty worried about being able to find someone that I would be able to trust with my babes. I didn t sleep at all last night but I m going upstairs now and get some peaceful sleep because I finally, after three months of searching, found the one I am able trust. I do not have one single doubt or reservations with this lady. Anyone considering her for for their fur babies should find themselves to be very lucky and blessed individuals!

This gas station is open 24 hours for your convenience, and it also has an exercise area for doggies that need to blow off some steam or take a potty break after a long car ride. Waste baggies and trash cans are provided here. Inside of the store, you can also find a broad variety of pet products in case you need something for your dog, making this the pawfect pit stop on a long journey!

Mosquito Lake State Park

If you're looking for something more exciting to do with your dog, don't hesitate to pay a visit to Mosquito Lake Dog Park! This park is located in Cortland, around 17 miles from Girard. This place is an absolute doggie heaven which is suitable for all kinds of doggos, since there are separate sections for small and large pups. The park is around five acres and includes wooded areas that provide thick shade. You'll have access to water here -- both for drinking and for swimming! Benches placed under the cool shade make the atmosphere even more relaxing for the dog owners as well.

Schenley

Want to hike and explore nature with your dog? Head six miles south of Girard to the Mill Creek Park. The park is located in the Schenley area of Youngstown and includes tons of trails and paths that you and your leashed pup can enjoy. The scenic views will amaze you, and your pup will be able to meet fellow doggos and socialize! In addition, this park also has historic log cabins, a mesmerizing rose garden, and plenty of wildlife and open spaces. You should bring fresh water with you just in case, and poop baggies to clean up after your pooch.

North Boardman

Marge Hartman's Paws Town is another option you have when it comes to choosing the right place to take your pooch to play. This place is located around 14 miles away from Girard, in North Boardman. The park features 3.25 acres where doggies can run off-leash. This park requires a membership pass, so keep that in mind if you plan to visit. A water fountain and waste baggies are both provided here for your convenience. If your pup gets all messy after playing, there's also a dog wash station where you can clean up your pal before hopping back in the car.

West Austintown

If you have a hyper hound, make sure to visit Austintown Dog Park. This fully fenced park where pups can run around and socialize off-leash provides plenty of amenities. There is agility equipment that our canine buddies will surely enjoy. The ground is covered in grass and there are plenty of trees to keep the temperature in the park pleasant. For the doggie owners, the park has benches installed so you can sit back and relax while keeping an eye on your pooch. There are two separate sections for pups over 25 lbs. and under 25lbs. Human and dog food are prohibited in this park.
