Your pal can also take a dip in the pond here during the summer; be sure to bring a towel! Bring your own water and waste bags, although there are some stations there that provide the baggies.

    #3 West Avon Lake

Just 10 miles north of Elyria, you'll find Park 4 Paws Avon Lake Dog Park, situated in West Avon Lake. The park is properly fenced to ensure all pups play safely. The Memorial Dog Park is located around 25 miles away from Elyria in Medina. This off-leash, fenced park has everything you'd expect from a standard dog park. There are two separate areas in the park: one for small dogs and one for large dogs. Benches and picnic tables are scattered throughout the park so you can sit and watch over your pooch. There's also a water fountain, but it's outside the fenced area, so make sure you bring a bowl.
