Every pup loves a trip to the park, which means a visit to Friendship Park is in order when you are in Gahanna! This is a pawsome place for enjoying some exercise with your pooch since there are sniff-tastic hiking trails you can explore. There is also lots of open green grass where your furry friend can roll and roam, as well as a playground for the kids, tennis court, basketball court and grills for enjoying a treat. If you love barbecue food, check out the Barrel & Boar for some pawsome dinner. You can tuck into pulled pork, ribs, Texas cheesesteaks and more with your pooch by your side at one of the outdoor tables. For dessert, head to Rita’s Italian Ice! There are lots of Italian Ice flavors you can choose from, such as Swedish fish and pumpkin pie, and since there are dog friendly outdoor tables, you can bring your furry friend too!

When your stomach is growling after exploring Gahanna with your pup, head to Panera Bread for some delicious lunch! After a long day, everyone deserves a frozen treat! When you are in Gahanna, be sure to drop by Menchie’s Frozen Yoghurt for some tasty dessert. Here you can choose from 100 rotating flavours of frozen yogurt, with something to suit everyone’s taste. Plus, there are tons of toppings you can choose too, such as candies, hot fudge, chocolates and fresh fruits. But, the best part is that there are two tables outside where your pooch can sit with you and watch the world go by. Just be sure someone can watch your pup when you go to order, as there isn’t table service here.
