Dog Areas in Blacklick

1 Groomer

Blacklick is a community in the southern part of Jefferson Township in central Ohio with a population of over 8,000 people. This is an excellent place to live, with several outdoor activities to do year-round. This community prides itself on maintaining its natural landscape by limiting high-density development and never diminishing or devaluing the green aspects of the community. Visitors and residents notice these efforts, and the town's beautiful natural resources reflect all the hard work that goes into maintaining them. A town that works so hard to showcase and maintain its natural beauty is sure to be a great place to be outdoors with your dog, and Blacklick is no exception.

Just southeast of central Blacklick is the Blacklick Ridge Community Park. This 23-acre park was majorly upgraded in 2015, thanks to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, and now features all-new playground equipment and improved parking, drainage, and lighting. While this park doesn't have an off-leash area for pets, your dog can join you on your visit to the park as long as they're on a leash at all times and you clean up after them. There are also paved walking trails at Blacklick Ridge Community Park where you can get an excellent stroll in with your pup. Blacklick is an incredible place for pet owners to live and you're going to love taking it in, one park at a time!
