Hi! I'm Natalie, an Oberlin transplant (aren't we all?) from Puerto Rico. I was a dog-owner for 5 years, but my dog couldn't make the trip with me (don't worry, she's still in the family). I moved here to work with really awesome young adults and co-manage a music library but, while that’s been sweet, I need a giant dose of doggie love. I've dog-sat and dog-walked some big and small puppers for some time now, but I’d like some more buddies. Maybe you can help!

“Dog dad here to help other pet parents”

Kind, caring animal lover here! As a single dog dad, I have had to ask for help and find care for my dog while working extra hours or traveling, and I know it can be stressful on both the owners and the pet. I’m here to try to provide a less stressful, relaxing way to provide the care needed.

I have owned and been around dogs all my life. I have a 6 year old, 86lb love bug named Bruce. He doesn’t live with me, but he’s still my baby! Dogs have always had a special place in my heart since I was a child. I enjoy all aspects of caring for them and being around them - even their unique and quirky personalities. I understand all dogs have separate needs, habits, and routines. Dogs are more than pets, they are family. All breeds are welcome, and I am lgbtq+ friendly!

“I treat others the way I want my dog to be treated”

I have been walking dogs whether mine, friends or families for all of my life. I have always loved dogs and love working with dogs. I have owned my own dog training business and have worked as a vet tech for 20 years. I now have a 5 year old son who I am supporting on my own and would love to be able to financially do more for him. Doing what I love is one way I hope to achieve this, which is walking dogs.

Dog Walking in Huron

The city of Huron is one of the main tourist destinations located on the south shore of Lake Erie. Set midway between Toledo and Cleveland, the city is an alluring attraction providing visitors with marina views, sandy beaches and the charming atmosphere of the shoreline of Lake Erie. It's also an incredibly dog-friendly place, home to a number of amenities for pooches, including beaches, parks, and restaurants. There's also an animal hospital here; hopefully, you won't need to avail of its services, but you can rest easy knowing there's one nearby if you need it.

Huron has several destinations worth visiting with your pooch, and one of them is Osborn Dog Park, also known as Erie MetroBark Park. Keep in mind that membership is required for bringing your pup to the park, but this is the only off-leash park in the county welcoming canine visitors. Your pup will be able to play and socialize in the grassy, fully fenced and protected area or exercise with you at an obstacle course.

Want to take your pal on a camping trip? Huron River Valley Resort: Campground and Marina is happy to welcome you and your pooch, offering overnight camping sites with all the facilities included! You can have a fulfilling weekend exploring the area, picnicking, kayaking, hiking and much more! Just make sure to keep your pooch on the leash at all times.
