Dog Areas in Kiousville

Kiousville is a quaint unincorporated community snuggled deep in the heart of Ohio. Since this community is so small, it doesn’t have much to offer dog owners. Thankfully, though, it’s super close to Columbus and nearly fifteen vet clinics are within twenty minutes of the town.

If you drive north of Kiousville to the western outskirts of Columbus, you’ll hit West Jefferson, OH. This sweet little community is home to the Prairie Oaks Metro Park. The location is very dog-friendly, and the paths vary from gravel to soft dirt, which is super easy on Fido’s paws! There are two ponds, and one is specifically dedicated to off-leash dog play.

Or, if you’re up for it, drive a bit further into Columbus to visit the Griggs Reservoir Park. Known for its disc golf, this park offers scenic views of the Columbus area and a nearby river. While you’re in the state capital, swing by Brown Bag Deli in Historic German Village. The outdoor patio welcomes dogs, and if Fido is good, your server might bring out some deli meat for your furry friend to enjoy!

Close to both Columbus and Springfield, Kiousville is the perfect little town for the country-loving Ohioan and their fur babies.
