Harrisburg is a small central-Ohio village of about 300 full-time residents. Although the community doesn’t have much to offer dog owners, its proximity to Columbus makes it a great area that’s still away from the noise of the city. You and your pooch can enjoy ice cream, shakes, or smoothies at one of the outdoor tables.

This massive nature area includes more than 7,000 acres of prairies, forest, and wetlands. There are nearly ten total miles of dog-friendly trails, and pups are also welcome in the picnic areas. Be sure to check out the herds of free-range bison which are enclosed in two fenced pastures.
