Kenilworth Avenue
Situated in the southwest part of town, the Glenwood/Municipal Park is on the Maumee River. You and Fido can walk along the paths that cover the 50 acres of land. The open ball fields are great for a game of fetch with your pup, just be sure to bring your own doggie bags and clean up any messes. Kids can also have fun on the large wooden playground structure while you and your pup relax on a shaded bench. The park is puptacular and Fido will love socializing with his furry friends, while the kids use the swimming pool or baseball diamond.

W Riverview Ave/ Glenwood Ave
Fido will love running around with friends in the Napoleon Off-Leash Dog Park/Meyerholtz Park on E. Front Street. The park is near the river for amazing views and cool breezes. You and your pooch can play with a toy, or just walk around the fenced park and get some exercise. When you need a rest, relax on one of the shaded benches and enjoy a bottle of water. You will need to have a membership for the park and get a key fob to get in and out of the gate, so plan ahead for this pawrific adventure!

Center Napoleon
In the City Center neighborhood, Oakwood Park is perfect for a brisk walk with your pup. The park features plenty of open space and a walking path where you and Fido can walk laps. The ball diamonds are great to play a game of fetch, and the picnic shelters are located nearby. When walking along the wooded trails, your pup will have a snifftastic time in the plants and trees. The path is about a mile long, so you will be able to keep track of your laps. The kids can run around on the playground, and there are well-maintained restrooms near the ball field. You will need to bring your own doggie waste bags for Fido.

South Napoleon
Just a few minutes from the Henry County Fairgrounds, Oberhaus Park is located on W Maumee Avenue. There are beautiful gardens to admire while you stroll with Fido, and you can walk along the Maumee River and check out the boats during the summer. The boat dock in the park is perfect if you and your pooch want to go for a ride or just enjoy a peaceful stroll along the ½ mile walking path. There are picnic tables where you can relax in the shade with a bottle of water, and Fido can roll around in the grass and have a furtastic time.
McClure
About seven miles east of Napoleon, the North Turkeyfoot Park is located in the small town of McClure. You and your pup can hike along the easy trail and admire views of the river. While walking, take a break and throw in your fishing line while relaxing along the banks of the water. The hiking trail is about four miles long, but you can stop and rest or head back when you and Fido get tired out. The trail is also flat, so it is perfect for strollers or wheelchairs.
