If you want to take your special pal on an outdoor adventure, you can head west about ten miles to the Big Darby Headwaters Nature Preserve. This facility is part of the Nature Conservancy and features wetlands and forested areas. You can also drive southeast about 12 miles into Marysville to visit McCarthy Park off North Cherry Street in Marysville. When you want to take an extended walk through the woods and by some water, head to the Jim Simmons Memorial Trail.
