“Pup need a potty break? I got this!”

Hi, it's Tracy, your friendly WAG! walker here. I’ve been walking with WAG! for 3 years now. It’s definitely the most fun/rewarding job ever! I love meeting all the new dogs and taking them on an adventure (that’s dog speak for walk...lol). I also volunteer walking dogs at Columbus Humane (over 10 years) and that's where I adopted my two Chihuahuas.  I know you cherish your fur babies and I will take care of them as good as I take care of my own. I can’t wait to meet and get to know them!

Hi, my name is Sue and there is nothing more I enjoy than spending time with dogs! When I was little I brought home all the homeless dogs, as an adult I continue with that behavior. I have spent the last 30+ years owning dogs and the last 20 years involved with animals rescue through breed specific organizations and Humane Societies. I have fostered and rehabilitated many dogs of numerous breeds and personalities, some who loved everyone, some who could not trust anyone. Each dog I meet I recognize as an individual. My walks focus on what they enjoy and what you request. I am fortunate to be able to finally do what I love, provide superb care and love to your dog while you are at work or away! Thank you.

I have owned and worked with dogs of all sizes through out my life. Growing up in a rural area I was a member of 4-H and trained and showed my dogs on county and state levels which has given me a great insite on dog handling. Recently I haven’t been able to have a dog of my own and used to spend a lot of time at a local shelter to help out and work with the dogs there

Dog Walking in Irwin

Irwin is a small, unincorporated community located in the southwestern part of Union Township near Elmwood Place, a historic farm listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Irwin is a place where you can enjoy the slow pace of life. If you want to do or visit something interesting with your mutt, the nearby areas are happy to welcome you for a day or two. You will find at least one veterinary clinic in North Lewisburg and five more in Urbana, which is the closest city to the area.

Being a part of Union Township makes Irwin a good place to have a pup or two. There are not so many activities in the community itself, but Union Township is a pet-friendly and nature-friendly community operating and maintaining four parks: Mt. Carmel Park, Clepper Park, Ivy Pint Park and Veterans Memorial Park. The latter is a great place to let your pooch to play and frisk in the grassy area and enjoy socializing with other canine friends.

You’ll also find the 56-acre, dog-friendly Shor Park located at Schoolhouse and Tealtown Roads, with three walking trails, a natural environment, wildlife and picnic areas where leashed pooches are welcome to join their masters in some outdoor activities.

Marysville is the city “where the Grass is Greener” in Union County. North Maple Street takes its root in the city center, stretching north, going along Schwarzkopf Park and heading farther off US-33. But you don’t have to travel too far to find a good place to bring Fido. Bark Park, a new favorite place among four-legged visitors, is set not far from the city center at 455 North Maple Street. The park is fully fenced and features 4 acres of off-leash joy, offering pawed paths, benches, lots of grass, trees, and hills. The park is naturally amazing, giving pooches a chance to socialize in the two separate areas for different sized canines.

Daree Fields Parks is a green recreation area located in the western part of Dublin, far from its downtown. This park features a number of outdoor activities and has a specially designated fenced area for dogs – Nando’s Dog Park. You can’t say that the dog park is spacious, but there is a separate area for small breeds to play and frisk, as well as drinking water, several benches and even a picnic area for having a nice day out or sharing a sandwich together. You will also find some simple agility equipment for exercising! In bad or rainy weather, the park may get muddy, so do take some water with you to wash your bud’s paws off before heading home.

Prairie Oaks Metro Park is a leafy recreation area in the northern part of West Jefferson with Three Mile Creek and several lakes located off West Freeway. The place is a great spot for hiking, fishing, boating and a number of other outdoor activities to have fun or escape the summer heat. Your lovely mutt is welcome to join you in any activity you choose, except for Bridle Trail, provided they remain on leash. For some off-leash fun, head to the playground near the lake, but make sure to supervise your mutt since the spot is not fenced.
