Berry Estates

About six miles from Goldsby, this area’s Monroe Park is a pawpular place for walkers of the two and four-legged kind! This large, elongated green space has a .38-mile paved trail that makes two loops around the perimeter of this grassy park. Children will have fun visiting Monroe Park too, as there is also a covered playground area, soccer goals and a baseball backstop. The park has a few big shady trees around, plus picnic tables and benches where you and your furry companion can take a breather after a few laps!

Check out a beautiful community park in Norman’s Canadian Trails neighborhood, about seven miles from Goldsby! Situated in a quiet and pleasant residential neighborhood, the neighborhood’s namesake park is a woofderful place to visit with your leashed furry friend. There is a paved walking path that makes a loop around the large open grassy area and the park is dotted with mature trees and shrubs. Canadian Trails Park also has benches where you and your pup can relax in the shade or watch your two-legged children play on the playground. There’s also covered picnic tables and a doggie waste cleanup station near the park’s entrance.

Avalon and Nottingham

Leash your furry friend and head to Norman’s Avalon and Nottingham neighborhood! Located about seven miles from Goldsby, just a few blocks from the University of Oklahoma South Campus, this area’s Walnut Ridge Park is a grrrreat place to visit with your dog! Reaves Park also has a huge open grassy play space where you and your pup can take in the sights, smells and sounds of this peaceful park. Bring a blanket and enjoy some time beneath a shade tree with your four-legged companion by your side. There are restrooms available in warmer months.
