“Let’s go for a run!”

Hey there! A little about me, I’m a psychology student at UO and love to skateboard. I used to show dogs, and learned a lot about what it takes to properly train and work with them. While I have soft spot for big pups, I currently have a chihuahua named Nacho whom I cherish walking around our neighborhood. I’ve also taken care of pets with illnesses that require medication and specific needs taken care of. I’m very excited to meet your pup and hope our experience is a great one!

“Happy to walk all breeds, all day, in all weather!”

I am a firm believer that a well-exercised, socialized dog is a happy dog! I love being outside in all weather to help dogs get the exercise and socialization they need so that they can rest comfortably while you are away from them. I am a mother to four active boys who are all in school, so my schedule is very flexible. I am reliable, loyal and will love on your dog the whole time I am with them. I am a lover of Annie, our goldendoodle, and take her running, walking and hiking everyday.

“Your pup is my priority!”

I love dogs more than anything! At age 9, my parents got me my own dog, who I trained and took care of. She was a young puppy, so I have experience with untrained and young dogs. I have had jobs dog walking and sitting, and have taken care of all kinds of dogs. I have a lot of experience pet sitting, including animals with health issues. I enjoy learning new skills with dogs, as well as getting to know the personality of each dog I spend time with. I love all kinds, shapes, and sizes of dogs!

Hello! I walked for WAG! on a full-time basis, for several months, in the Seattle area (before COVID appeared last year). I miss it it so much, and I wish I could go back to that. I am originally from New York. I grew up with a black Golden Doodle called Lyla - and tho she's not around anymore, my sister has a doodle now (Rey) and my parents just got a brand new Bernadoodle puppy, for themselves (not kidding!). I work 7-4, M-F, now. I'm hoping I can pick up a few walks here and there.

Dog Walking in Cottage Grove

Cottage Grove is a city of about 10,000 in western Oregon. As the third-largest city in Lane County, it’s near many dog-friendly amenities, including nearly eighty veterinarians within thirty miles.

Just twenty-five miles north of Cottage Grove, several dog parks can be found in Eugene, OR. One of the most popular is the Alton Baker Park Off-Leash Area. This park is complete with two separate sides and two mini pools for pups to enjoy on a hot day. There is also Candlelight Park: this 3.5-acre play area is fully fenced and offers plenty of street parking.

For some more adventurous fun in Eugene, check out the Spencer Butte hike (part of the Ridgeline Trail System). This trail is only a few miles long depending on where you start, and leashed dogs are welcome. Also part of the Ridgeline System is Ridgeline Trails. This network of hiking trails has no picnic areas, making it a more rugged stop for serious nature lovers, both human and canine.

If you’re in the mood for a bite to eat in the local community, check out Jack Sprats. This restaurant tucked away in Cottage Grove serves pub food like jalapeño poppers, pork nachos, onion rings, and much more; they can also accommodate gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian diets. Pups are welcome on their outdoor patio.

Located about 18 miles north of Cottage Grove, Mount Pisgah Trail will satisfy both your and your pup’s need for adventure. This easy-to-moderate trail spans about 7.8 miles, which takes about two-and-a-half hours to walk. March through November is the best time to go. While on the trail, you can experience vast grasslands and wildflowers of the Willamette Valley. Just remember to keep your dog on a leash while exploring the main trails and under firm voice control on the other trails. Don’t forget to clean up after him, too. The park strictly prohibits you from letting your pooch harass wildlife.
