In local Lewisburg, a peaceful park called Chipp Ross Park allows you to bring your four-legged best friend to enjoy the great outdoors with you. Positioned with a great view of mountains in the horizon, this dog park is breathtakingly beautiful. Your dog may run beside you off-leash, but frequent visitors recommend a leashed hike instead so your dog will not step in any poison ivy. Outside Chipp Ross Park, several other dog parks and hiking trails are also dog-friendly, so feel free to explore. If you enjoy being outside almost as much as you enjoy being with Fido, then Lewisburg is perfectly located thirty minutes from BellFountain.

Highly rated amongst local park goers, Minto-Brown Island Park is located in the dog-friendly neighborhood of Eola. West Salem is around an hour drive from Bellfountain, but the drive is well worth it. West Salem has two other dog parks as well, but the crowd favorite is still Minto-Brown. Although several of the dog parks are not fenced, dogs can still happily play on-leash or at a comfortable distance from the roads off-leash. With open space to romp and play with other local dogs in the park, your dog will be grateful for a visit to any of these three parks. Keizer Rapids park has separate areas for small and big dogs, access to the riverside, and plenty of hiking trails for your dog to enjoy as well.

Within the city of Keizer, a beautiful dog park called Keizer Rapids Dog Park is situated right beside the waterfront. The local dog park separates small dogs from large dogs, and all areas of the park are fenced in.
