Dog Areas in Lincoln Beach

2 Trails

Lincoln Beach is a community in Lincoln County. Not to be confused with Lincoln City, this small coastal town is not quite as crowded as its northern neighbor. With miles of dog friendly beaches to explore, Lincoln Beach will make your four legged pal feel free and wild. Although Lincoln Beach doesn’t have its own veterinary clinic, canine care is available just 15 minutes away in Lincoln City.

The Fogarty Creek State Recreation Area sits at the southern end of Lincoln Beach where Fogarty Creek meets the Pacific Ocean. Clip on your dog’s leash and head over to this beautiful park for some fun in the sun. She’ll love feeling the sea breeze ruffle her fur as she scampers around the sandy beach. Find a piece of driftwood and play a game or two of fetch. There’s also a short little walk through a grove of Sitka spruce, pine, and alder trees.

Another pawsome place is the Gleneden Beach State Recreation Site. This beach goes on for miles and is perfect for walking since it’s not rocky. You and your canine buddy can walk a few miles up to Salishan Spit for some sea lion viewing or have a picnic on the wooded bluff that overlooks the beach.

Lincoln Beach will definitely make your pup’s tail wag!
