North Otter Rock
If your pooch is curious about sea creatures, be sure to pay a visit to the Otter Rock Marine Garden. This one mile stretch of beach is a marine life hot spot. When the tide is out, your pup can get an up close look at sea urchins, starfish, crabs, octopus, and much more. He’ll love wandering around tide pools and learning about ocean critters. There are a couple things to keep in mind while visiting. The rocky areas can be slippery, but your dog’s paws should be able handle them just fine. Also, be gentle as you touch the creatures and make sure Fido doesn’t step on any of them.
