It's a pleasant hike with great views of the Delaware River! The Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area is a great place to take your dog for a full day of activities, as long as you're happy to keep him on leash!

Dansbury Park is a large, busy park right at the heart of East Stroudsburg. It's packed with amenities, some of which are not suitable for pets. The Dansbury Park Pool is one such attraction. Most of the park, however, is suitable for exploration by your leashed pup! Walk around the ball fields or take the walking paths for a relaxing time in Dansbury Park. You can also check out Miller Park in the same neighborhood. This smaller park doesn't have a playground or sports fields, which makes it a better choice if you want to skip the crowds. Amble through this natural green space at your own pace!
Pinebrook Park is a picturesque park in the Arlington Heights neighborhood of East Stroudsburg. This park's main attraction is a creek. The gravel path is perfect for walking or jogging with your dog! Brodhead Creek Park lets you get a little closer to the action. This park has a smooth path running by the creek that you can wade in to cool off. It also offers BBQ pits and pavillions for cookouts! Remember to bring your own supplies to the park. Reds Park rounds out the Arlington Heights trio by offering a bit of solitude; it's much less popular than the larger Brodhead Creek Park that's right nearby!
The River's Edge Family Bike Park is an option in Minisink Hills. This park has a little bit of everything. There are obstacles for mountain biking and bike tricks, in addition to trails. This park is primarily used by cyclists, so keep your pup on a short leash to better share the road! You can also try Minisink Park if you don't want to compete with wheels! It's just down the road from River's Edge Family Bike Park and offers a lot of open, green space for you and your dog to explore! Keep your dog on leash in this park as well.
