The best dog friendly neighborhoods in Economy
48
Ambridge Heights
Ambridge Borough Park is less than a minute's drive across the border from the borough of Economy. This community park has a little something for everyone! Your dog isn’t going to care about the basketball courts and baseball diamond when they see the dog park. This fenced in, off leash area is pawfect for meeting new friends and working off some steam! The doggie area has some agility equipment for solo play. If your dog is shy, leash up and tackle the Ambridge Borough Park walking trail instead. This path winds through a forested field, and is a great way to dodge the crowds.
36
Sewickley Heights
Twelve minutes from Economy is the central neighborhood of Sewickley Heights. Sewickley Heights Borough Park is a dream come true for busy dogs and the families who care for them! This park has extensive picnic grounds, sports fields, and playgrounds. This park is over 600-acres, so even with all of that you're not likely to feel cramped! The best feature of the park is the Off Leash Area. You can let Fido run for all they're worth without worrying about keeping up! This area of the park is large, with multiple landscapes perfect for playing, running, or following their nose. It's not fenced in, however, so be sure your pup will come when called!
24
West Wexford
Just a nine minute drive from Economy is the Knob Hill Community Park. Conveniently located in nearby Wexford, this park has it all. There are two main areas of the park. The first is the large baseball field, complete with stands. The area closer to the parking lot is the playground! Your dog will love exploring either area, or taking advantage of the cultivated lawn between them. High energy dogs will enjoy walking circuits around the park, which presents them with plenty of things to see, smell, and hear. If Fido is more the type to stop and smell the wildflowers, this park is even better.
12
South Freedom
Sunset Hills Park is an eight minute drive from Economy. This little park has three playground areas, so any kids in your party will have options! While one is dedicated for toddlers and younger children, the other two parks are free for older kids to play. Your dog may not be cut out to explore a playground, but they will love the large, open spaces in the center! This grassy field may be taken for sports, but there's plenty of room to share. Sniff out something interesting, or walk circuits of the park to exercise your pup. Your dog should be leashed in Sunset Hills Park.

Central Conway
Edward Gratty Park is an eight minute drive from Economy, and features plenty of room to roam! Aside from the small playground and restroom facilities, this park is all open grass space. It's a great place to feel the grass between your toes! If you need a quieter place to walk Fido, Conway Park is just blocks away. This smaller park is fantastic for a quick walk to burn off energy. There is a small playground, but with Edward Gratty Park so close, the main crowds are drawn there. Your pup has to be leashed in either park.
