Jeannette West Side

West Jeannette is the name of a park in the neighborhood of Jeannette West Side. This large park is mostly devoted to baseball. There's one full sized field, and one much smaller field. Either of them would be a great, convenient place to walk your dog when they're not in use! If you're going to swing by during a game, there's still plenty of room to roam, and you and your leashed dog could get quite a workout just walking laps around the park, it's that big! Plus, the crowds provide lots of sights, smells, and sounds to stimulate your dog and help tire out his mind.

Jeanette South Side

Sixth Street Park in Jeannette South Side is a simple, urban green space that features an open, grassy field in the middle of a residential neighborhood. What it lacks in refinement, it makes up for in location and versatility. The green field is a perfect place to walk your dog in the morning or evening, when you just need to stretch their legs. It's also used for pick up games of sports and impromptu picnics in the urban landscape. You should bring your own water in with you, and a doggie bowl to share it in. Your dog should be leashed in this park.

Fort Pitt

Oakford Park is a heavily wooded spot in the Fort Pitt neighborhood. What it lacks in amenities, it makes up for with size and location, being the only park in the neighborhood. Its walking paths take you through the trees and down the length of the park, making a half-mile round trip. This is a great distance for anyone looking to quickly exercise their dog, or build up endurance for a longer hike. Take a couple laps to customize your walk to your needs. Despite the remote location, keep your pup on leash in Oakford Park. Bring your own water!

Grapeville

Playground Number Two doesn't have a distinctive name, but this little slice of space in the Grapeville neighborhood of Jeannette still sees plenty of use. This park has a simple walking path that leads from the parking lot to the three distinct areas of the park. The first area is the basketball courts! Two full sized courts make it easy to pickup a game when you need to. Next up is the playground, equipped with the classic swings and jungle gym combination. Third up is an open field., This grassy area is great for picnics, letting your dog follow their nose, or simply relaxing.

Manor

Manor Borough Park is centrally located in the small town of Manor. It's a nine minute drive down the road from Jeannette, but it's well worth it if you want to make the trip. This park is picturesque, with pretty gazebos and a pond filled with ducks. Keep a grip on the leash to be sure the ducks are as charmed and fascinated as your pup is with them! This park also has sports fields and a playground, making it an ideal destination if you have a whole group to please. Pack your pup and your picnic and get exploring!
