You and Fido can have a ball playing at Ackerman Park Dog Run, located 30 minutes from Meggett! This bark park gives your pup the pawpportunity to have some off-leash fun in a safe, fenced-in area. There's plenty of shaded seating for dog moms and dads, and water is provided for both you and your pup. Locals do warn that this dog run is located next to a skate park, so if your dog is easily scared of loud noises, you might want to take them to another dog park in the area. Waste bags aren't provided, so please bring your own.

About 22 miles, Hampton Park Dog Run provides you and your pup with another pawfect dog park to play at! This bark park is off-leash, allowing your pup to burn off any excess energy. This dog run is surfaced with grass in one part and sand in another, so after a heavy rain, it can get quite muddy in the sandy section. There's a hose for your dog to use to cool off, but you can also use it to clean them up if needed. There's seating for dog moms and dads. All you need to bring is yourself, your dog, and some waste baggies!
