Sewanee is a small community that sits on the Western edge of the Cumberland Plateau in the southeastern park of Middle Tennessee. The town is most known for The University of South campus that occupies the better part of Northern Sewanee. There are no veterinarians in Sewanee, but there are two in nearby Winchester.

Grab your pup and hang out at Angel Park together. This dogtastic park has great amenities that you both will love, including a nice grass area, a covered pavilion, and a small paved walking path that the two of you can take a good walk on. At times, the park can get a bit busy since it holds music concerts in the park, so make sure your dog is up for being social when you visit.

Stop into The Blue Chair Cafe and Tavern for a bite to eat together. They have a huge menu that offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, with delicious meals like burgers and sandwiches.  Their menu includes craft beers or ales that pair perfectly with whatever you decide to eat, and their outdoor patio is dog-friendly and a great place to relax with your furry pal.

Sewanee is a beautiful town that you and your pup will have an amazing time exploring together.
