If your pup loves a good walk outdoors, Shelbyville has got what you need. Take a trip to the Duck Pond Park with your pup! Go for a leisurely stroll while you toss some bread to the ducks. The nightly fee doubles for pets over 35 lbs. If your pup is a hefty one, then perhaps the Econo Lodge Inn & Suites will better suit your needs. Pups up to 40 lbs are welcome to stay for a reasonable fee per pup, per night. Be sure to call the canine concierge in order to ensure a pet-friendly room as they are limited at the Econo Lodge. Fisherman's Park primarily features recreational fishing along the banks of the Duck River. It offers visitors to participate in a diverse array of activities at the Recreation Center and outdoor sports courts, but you and Fido will pawticularly enjoy the wooftastic on-leash walking trails that fork off through the forest.
