Shelbyville's Old Unionville Road neighborhood is a great area to stay while in town, thanks to their pup-friendly hotels. Check-in to the Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham for clean, comfortable rooms at a furtastic price. Note that there is a pet weight restriction that correlates with price. The nightly fee doubles for pets over 35 lbs. If your pup is a hefty one, then perhaps the Econo Lodge Inn & Suites will better suit your needs. Pups up to 40 lbs are welcome to stay for a reasonable fee per pup, per night. Be sure to call the canine concierge in order to ensure a pet-friendly room as they are limited at the Econo Lodge.
