Fayetteville proudly boasts a rich history, which you can see for yourselves in the woofderful Stone Bridge Memorial Park. A famous stone bridge once crossed the Elk River in Fayetteville, until it began to fall. The Stonebridge Park now boasts stone cut from the bridge and has transformed it into a man-made waterfall in the center of the park. The Stone Bridge Memorial Park is a local gem; you will find tourists and residents frequenting the park to enjoy its pavilions, walking track, visitor's center, and a log cabin from the 18th century.
If Fido needs a good stretch, you can leash up your booties and hike the quaint Leopard Frog Trail loop that features a lake and a moderately-difficult terrain. Your pooch is required to wear his leash at all times on this 1 mile hiking loop.

If your pup loves to be outdoors, then make sure to visit the Northeast Fayetteville neighborhood to take advantage of two puptastic parks. The first park is Kids Park, which as you might guess, is optimized for children to come to play and have some fun! Furrific outdoor playground equipment nestles on a spacious, grassy lot where you and Fido can take a walk or nap, whichever you please. Benches and pavilions are available throughout the park for your convenience. While you're in the area, wag across the street to the neighboring S. J. Park. This local park features wide open grassy grounds that lie just next to the rolling Elk River.
The Northwest Fayetteville neighborhood features the woofderful Kiwanis Park in Fayetteville. This local park is a beautiful and safe place to take your pup for a stroll. Its grounds lie right next to an elementary school, so you can expect this quaint little slice of greenery to be busy after school hours. This park is pawfect for children and furkids to roam and play, as the it features wide open grassy fields, a walking path, public restrooms, and its location is far from any major roads. Leash up your pup and head to the Kiwanis Park to enjoy spending some quality time outdoors with one another.
Your Fido will love a visit to the West Fayetteville neighborhood thanks to the pawpular dog park! As Fayetteville's newest addition, this park is barking with lots of doggies and their owners eager to spend some time off-leash in a beautiful, secure grassy area. Your pup won't be able to contain his excitement once off-leash in this furrific area! The dog park is located just behind the Don Davidson Complex and features clean water fountains, receptacles for doggie waste disposal, leash trees, and a separate play area for shy, small, or anxious pups. Make sure to keep Fido on leash when outside of the fenced dog park to ensure everyone and everypup's safety.
Are you and your pup cinephiles? Then you both will adore what the North Fayetteville neighborhood has to offer! Take a drive to the town's only drive-in movie theatre, at Highway 50 Drive-In, located north of Fayetteville. This pup-friendly activity is a favorite among the local dog owners, so when in town, do as the locals do! The theatre is open from March through October and offers endless fun, food stands, and restrooms. This woofderful activity is indeed a blast from the past, one that you and Fido will want to do over again and again. Grab your pooch and your popcorn and enjoy the film!
