Be sure to bring some water in case either of you get thirsty. Grab your swimming gear and head over for a day filled with fun!

East Beach

This dog-friendly neighborhood is located 27 miles from Seabrook, Texas and is home to the East Beach. This is a public beach where dogs are allowed to visit with their owners as long as they stay on their leash. Unlike many crowded beaches, you'll find plenty of parking here which is located close to the beach. The sand here is soft for your pup's paws, and he'll love making a splash in the gentle waves here. Be sure to bring something for shade along with water and waste bags for cleaning up.

Kempner Park

This pawesome neighborhood is located 27 miles from Seabrook, Texas and has a great park for you and your pooch to visit. Kempner Park is not a dog park, but it's very pawpular among dog owners. You will need to keep your pup on their leash while visiting. The leash policy is strictly enforced, and you'll face a big fine for breaking the rules! There are a few trees that provide shade, as well as plenty of seating for your comfort. There is a water fountain for dogs, but you will need to bring your own waste bags and extra water for yourself. There is some grass, but the walkways are mostly paved at this park.

Seawall Blvd

This neighborhood has a great beach for you and your pooch to visit. Stewart Beach Park is approximately 27 miles from Seabrook, but the drive is well worth it for this slice of paradise! After paying the $8 entry fee, you and your dog are welcome to play here all day long! You'll find places to buy food and drinks, restrooms and showers here for your convenience. If you happen to forget your chair or umbrella, rentals are available. Be sure to bring extra water and doggy waste bags. Your pooch will love the soft sand and the coolness of the water. There's only one thing that could make a beach day better: bringing your dog along to enjoy it with you!

Liberty Dr

This pawtastic neighborhood is located 19 miles from Seabrook, Texas and is home to Independence Dog Park. This fenced dog park is the pawfect place for Fido to play off-leash. There are two separate sections: one for smaller dogs and one for larger dogs. It is open everyday from 6 am to 10 pm. Your canine pal will love running and romping in the lush green grass, or lounging under a shade tree after working up a good pant. Hyperactive pooches will love playing on the agility equipment here. Pet parents can rest and relax at the seating areas while they supervise their playing pups. Be sure to bring water and supplies for cleaning up after your pooch.
