Morris Island is an outdoor oasis on the eastern side of Chincoteague Island. The area is bordered by Morris Creek on one side. You will find plenty of splashtastic room to run around with your dog on the banks of the creek. You will need a towel and plenty of waste bags for this adventure. You can also head over to Jim Blades Point, a small and quiet beach area right across from Little Morris Island Creek. Just make sure you have plenty of clean drinking water with you for your day out with friends and other dogs along the water.

Deep Hole

Deep Hole is a pup-friendly neighborhood near the center of Chincoteague Island where you will find plenty of outdoor places to walk with your dog while enjoying the pupperific view of the scenery around you. The Island Nature Trail is a great place to spend some time with your loving canine while you get plenty of rejuvenating fresh air. The Donald J. Leonard Park is another great place to have some fun in the sun with Spot. You will need your waste bags and some treats for your bundle of energy as you make your way around Deep Hole.

Central Chincoteague Island

Central Chincoteague is a lovely place to go with your dog if you are looking for a bustling neighborhood with plenty of dog-friendly spots to roll around in. You will find the Waterfront Park is a pupular destination for dog walkers throughout the city who want to spend some time somewhere with a view of the water while getting plenty of sun and grass. Just make sure you bring your doggie waste bags and plenty of drinking water, especially on hot days. You will also want a few treats in your pocket to reinforce puptastic behavior as you make new friends.

East Chincoteague Island

East Chincoteague Island is a furrific area if you love nature and spending time with your canine companion. You will find the various campgrounds and parks are pawfect for you to get plenty of exercise and fresh air with your pup. Little Oyster Bay is a popular waterside attraction for all of the pups in town who want to splash around on a hot day. Just keep a few towels in the car and be ready for all of the post-splash shaking! East Chincoteague is just a short drive across the bay to the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge, where your dog is welcome to join you on her leash!

South Chincoteague Island

South Chincoteague Island is a lovely neighborhood where you will find the best of nature and fun with your dog. Dog walkers in this area enjoy some of the best sunsets in the state, with plenty of places to take dogs for a relaxing walk after a long day. With campgrounds and local parks to explore, there is never a dull moment on this side of town. Toms Cove Park is a beautiful area where you will need a harness to help your pup along the rocky terrain, but the views are completely worth it! You can also head to Veteran's Memorial Park with Spot for a grass-rollin' good time!
