Cedar View
Located in the southeastern corner of Bonney Lake is the small neighborhood of Cedar View. While there are not many pet-friendly accommodations in this area for those looking to visit, Cedar View is perfect for families looking for housing that is more permanent. There is a beautiful park located in Cedar View, aptly named the Cedarview Park, which has a puppy water fountain in case your furry friend is parched during his daily walk. Make a quick stop over at Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt and grab a yummy treat that you can enjoy on the pet-friendly patio.36

Ponderosa Estates
Prefer a more secluded environment? Try the woodsy area of Ponderosa Estates. There is plenty to do in the way of outdoor activities, and you can also seek out new adventures with your safely leashed pup in tow. With a few lakes located both on the east and west side of the neighborhood, residents can take their pets over and enjoy some sightseeing and water activities. The area does require some commuting as it is on the outskirts of Bonney Lake and doesn’t offer much in the way of shops and services. However, this can make for some fun adventures both with and without your precious pups.24

Alderton
Head a little west of Bonney Lake and you’ll find yourself in the town of Alderton, just outside of Puyallup, WA. This small neighborhood is nestled alongside the Puyallup River and is great for pups that love to get in touch with nature. There is an entrance to the Foothills Trail in Alderton, which gives you and your dog access to a trail that spans 30 miles through a number of cities, with the most popular stretch running in this area.
