Introduction
Dog Names Ending in 'les' in Pop Culture
That's when Pebbles met Lou. Lou was found on the streets of New York. He was only five months old when he was taken into a shelter. Only, his story wasn't so typical: he was deaf. Upon being evaluated at the shelter, the veterinarians wondered how he'd survived that long, as not only a young puppy, but a deaf one, unable to hear oncoming traffic, potential threats, or even other violent dogs. To make matters worse for Lou, the shelter he was brought into was known to be a high kill shelter. That means it's a shelter that kills off more animals than it successfully rehabilitates. Less adoptions, more euthanasia.
Lou's chances seemed slimmer by the day. That is, until Rawhide Rescue called the shelter and pulled him out, giving him a foster home. During one of their rescue events, he met his forever family and got adopted....by the same family who had adopted Pebbles. These days, Pebbles and Lou have an amazing life, far away and different than what it used to be. Having had miserable first owners, having suffered on the streets, they have great gratitude in the loving family that posts pictures and videos of them all over social media.
Every April, during the special month dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals, the family posts flashback photos of where Pebbles and Lou come from, and urge people to treat their pets with the love and respect that they deserve. And every other month of the year, it's back to posting the daily occurrences, such as blanket and pillow fort building, car rides, cooking time, cuddles, and naps. They even get along with the family's Orange Tabby, Chester, whom they loving call Chester Cheese. He is often featured on Pebble's own Instagram account, holding his feet sweetly on a blanket somewhere in the house. Always nesting with the dogs!
Dog Name Ending in 'les' Considerations
Still, even more helpful are the things you could consider, such as the dog's breed, age, gender, fur color, height, weight, and personality. Even quirky behavior or preferences can be considered. Whether your dog prefers chew toys over balls, or rope toys over anything interactive like KONG toys. The more you pay attention to your dog, the better the bond. The more understanding of your dog you become! And that's a great thing, because that leads to better training, better knowledge, and of course, a better name. So hang in there. Spend some time with your dog, write down the names that you enjoy, and be patient. The right name will come along!
