Introduction
Dog Names Meaning Chaos in Pop Culture
With a name like Flash, you expect this pooch to be fast, and you would be correct in this case. Flash has boundless energy, super speed, and the courage of 10 dogs at her job as a law enforcement officer, narcotics and arson department in Yakima, Washington. This lucky canine lived on the streets until she got picked up by the animal department in Everett, Washington when she was nine months old. In fact, she was slated to be euthanized the next day when the Washington State Patrol Academy decided to include her in their new K-9 Task program. She excelled at the tests and was the first and only dog to ever get 100% on her certification.
Since then, Flash has shown her appreciation in many ways. She was first on the Narcotics K-9 team and then assisted two different drug enforcement agency task force teams, with the regional SWAT team, and the patrol division. She has been involved in more than 2200 narcotic search and seizures during her first 3000 deployments. Flash has always gone above and beyond the call of duty with every case, according to her partner Jason Johnson. She does not know the word quit and would never give up searching until there was nowhere else for her to go. She has never backed down or stopped working for any reason.
Even after Flash retired from her police duties in 2013, she was an inspiration. After her partner adopted her when she retired, he discovered that when these K-9 heroes retire, they are cut off from funding completely and placed back in the shelter if no home can be found. While she was with the police department, she got her medical costs, medication, food, and death benefits but that all ended when she retired. Unlike their human partners, these retired police officers do not get a pension and medical plan to thank them for their service.
So, her partner Jason decided to do something about it and started up the Project K-9 Hero Foundation (with Flash as the Ambassador) to make sure all retired police and military dogs get the support they need. In fact, the foundation now provides up to $3,000 per year in food, medical benefits, and even death benefits. After all, Flash has saved the state of Washington thousands of dollars with the services she provided during her working years and so do other service dogs. There is no reason why she and all the other police and military dogs should not be taken care of after they retire. Flash and Jason travel all over the world raising awareness and funding for the foundation, and she even has her own children’s book called “K-9 Flash Becomes a Hero.”
Dog Name Meaning Chaos Considerations
When choosing a name for your furever friend it is important that you like the name for one thing. After all, your fur buddy is going to be around for a long time, so it is pretty important that you like the name you give them. And hopefully, they will like it too. Maybe you also want to name them for how they look or act. For example, if your dog is constantly on the move or tearing something up, you may want to think of a name that reminds you of that. Chaos. That is the perfect name right there, but there are many others that can mean the same thing.
Think about why your dog acts chaotically. Is it just their nature because of their breed? Some breeds are predisposed to be a bit hyper, like any kind of terriers and many small breeds like the Chihuahua and Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Also, dogs that have a lot of energy include the Australian Shepherd, Dalmatian, and the Shetland Sheepdog. Whatever breed you have, if your dog is quite the handful, there are many pawesome pet names to fit that criterion. We have listed the most pawpular ones here for you.
