Dog Names that Start with E

Dogs have their own place in history, often being featured in popular TV shows, movies, theater productions, and even literature and artwork. One of the reasons for this is obvious: they're adorable, and a great addition to any story. But also, every dog is different, and will add an element of their own personalities to the art form. For example, there's Ein, the famous Welsh Corgi from the iconic 1990's anime TV series Cowboy Bebop. It featured a team of four bounty hunters on a spaceship, travelling to distant planets, seeking criminals to apprehend, so they could make a living. Ein always made for a loving, loyal companion, adding a touch of incomparable personality to the show. Perhaps that's why he is one of the most beloved dogs in anime, to this day, even two decades later.  

Nicknamed "data dog," Ein's intelligence was greatly enhanced by a research facility, making him worth millions of dollars. Unsurprisingly, despite the fact that he wound up in the arms of four bounty hunters, all with the intention of selling him for profit, they couldn't bring themselves to do it. He was too adorable, smart, and helpful. He was one of the Bebop team – almost instantaneously. 

 And as part of the team, Ein proved extremely helpful in all the crazy situations they constantly found themselves in on distant planets. He was always there with a plan of action, ready to execute. He helped team members win at card games, correctly pinpointed culprits before anyone else, and even maneuvered cars off course to keep the bad guys at bay. Whenever he wasn't barking once for yes and twice for no, he was running to save his beloved friends. 

Another famous dog with a name that starts with an "E" is Einstein, the Great Dane from the 1988 animated musical comedy-drama Oliver & Company. This little dog story was based on Oliver Twist by English author Charles Dickens. Einstein is an adorable, huge grey dog with a loving temperament. He's the largest dog in the film, making him the protector of all the smaller, yappy ones. Despite coming off as rather dim-witted, Einstein is amicable, kind and silly. He has all the size and potential to be a more threatening dog, but that's just not who he is, and that makes him all the better. The fact that he can be himself, and still be this amazingly sweet, loyal dog that cares for his friends.
