Star Trek: Enterprise, is a prequel to the Original Series of Star Trek. It aired in 2001 until 2005, incorporating 98 episodes in only four seasons. During Captain Jonathan Archer’s entire 10-year captain assignment, he had a pet dog called Porthos. Porthos was one of four puppies in a litter and was played by a dog known as Prada. Later on, the role was taken over by Breezy and Windy, two female Beagles.

During Prada’s time on the show, he remained a faithful, well-behaved, and loyal canine. He was also Captain Archer’s best friend as the dog named Porthos. He wouldn’t use the transporter for himself or his dog in the pilot episode, and when Porthos nearly dies from a deadly pathogen, he works hard to save his life with a Phlox transplant.
