Dog Names that Start with Tu

Not one, not two, but six dogs that work together to teach children about teamwork, playing fair, and friendship. These six pooches are the work of a Canadian/New Zealand television series produced by Huhu Studios that debuted in 2008 and ended in 2011, but you can still find their reruns on some channels. The six good furiends are the fastest dogs in Racerville, and they are based on the picture book, Racer Dogs, Turbo Dogs written by Bob Kolar. 

Dash is a Beagle and is the leader of the group with a heart of gold and healthy competitive spirit who always plays fair. His colors are white and red, he is player one, and he is neat, tidy, and professional. Mags is the Cocker Spaniel with a clear head and cool fursonality. She is not afraid to speak her mind but is never bossy, always happy and fun to be around. Her colors are purple and orange, and she is player two. GT is a Bulldog who is an inventor and mechanic with the colors of white and blue, and he is player number three.

Player number five is Strut (there is no player four), who is a Dachshund that is always trying to cheat to win and ends up crashing in the end. His colors are yellow and blue, and he is his own worst enemy. Stinkbert is a Terrier who loves to play in the trash, so he always smells funky. His colors are goldenrod and chartreuse, and he is player number six. Clutch, who is number seven, is a klutzy Labrador Retriever who gets into trouble sometimes with Strut. His colors are yellow and green. 

Some of the other dogs that play in the television show are Cam, who is a Beagle and is the racetrack announcer, Ump the German Shepherd, who is the raceway’s official, and Five, who is a pizza delivery dog who delivers a pizza in five minutes or less. Marlene is a Spaniel who runs a store where the Turbo Dogs shop, Sarge Gruffer is a Retriever who is a highway patrolman, Zanner Howler is a puppy who likes Dash, Fanner Howler is a Terrier who is Zanner’s brother, Rock Rally is a German Shepherd movie star, Auntie Ratchet is Dash’s aunt, and Wrenchini is the local mechanic. 

No matter what the show is about each episode, the leader, Dash, is always the helpful one who teaches the other dogs how to play fair, Mags is the only female dog but pushes the others to get going, GT is always working, and Strut and Stinkbert always seem to be getting into trouble that the others have to help them out of.
