Henry Danger Inspired Dog Names

Henry is not just a fantastic dog; he is also the pawfect furiend to his fur brother, Baloo, who is actually a cat. While it is true that many dogs don’t really like cats much, Henry loves Baloo, and Baloo loves Henry too. Owned by Cynthia Bennett and Andre Sibilsky, who moved to Colorado in 2013, they all have been enjoying exploring the mountains since they adopted Henry in 2014. He is a mix of Australian Shepherd, Staffordshire Terrier, Boxer, Husky, and German Shepherd.

Finding that their new poochie had a lot of energy and loved to hike and explore as much as they did, they started taking him on hikes, calling him their little mountain goat because of his climbing skills, love of high places, and how much he enjoys the outdoors. The first time they took him hiking, he climbed onto the highest and tallest rock he could find and just stood there and looked at everything.

In 2017, they decided to adopt a cat friend for Henry, and they went to the local animal shelter looking for a nice calm feline who was not too skittish and liked dogs. The couple found Baloo, a Siamese mix cat, and Henry and Baloo have been best furiends ever since. In fact, for the first few months, Baloo would knead Henry’s tummy and try to nurse, but Henry did not seem to mind at all. 

The couple wanted to adopt a sibling for Henry because he has separation anxiety and would get stressed out when they left the house. Baloo has calmed Henry down considerably, and he does not get stressed out at all when Baloo is around, which is all the time. In fact, they sleep together, go on walks together, eat together, and Baloo likes to hang out on Henry’s head either sleeping or just looking around as Henry walks. And Henry cannot go anywhere without Baloo because if anyone touches Henry’s leash, Baloo starts meowing and making a fuss to go along. 

The whole family enjoys hiking and have traveled together in Oregon, California, Texas, Utah, Wyoming, and Colorado. Many people ask how they keep the pair from running away while hiking and the couple say they keep them on leashes most of the time but that they typically do not stray far from their sides. And these two furry family members are not just pets; they are social media stars with thousands of followers on Instagram and over 45,000 followers on their Facebook page.
