If you are looking for a great place to walk your pup, the Robert W. Groh Park will delight both you and your dog. The park entrance is near the Woodside Park subdivision, and the trail is paved. You can hike along the loop that goes around the perimeter of the park and around the parking area. During the summer, the kids can enjoy the playground and basketball court or sit with your pooch at one of the shaded picnic tables and enjoy a snack.

After spending the day at the park, stop by Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers off Waterford Parkway. You can grab some burgers or hot dogs for dinner and order frozen custard or a sundae for dessert.  Be sure to get your pooch a vanilla cone and enjoy your meal at the dog-friendly outdoor tables.
