Dog Areas in Green Mountain Falls

1 Eateries

Just over one square mile, Green Mountain Falls is a small town in central Colorado with under 1,000 residents. It’s about fifteen miles outside of Colorado Springs, so it’s very close to local mountains and other amenities like vet clinics (over a dozen animal hospitals are within a twenty-minute drive). The Centennial State is famous for being super outdoorsy, so its pup-friendly outdoor activities certainly don’t disappoint!

Drive just twenty minutes over to Colorado Springs and you and Fido will bump into the ever-heavenly Garden of the Gods. Leashed pups are welcome to join you on this park’s countless trails; the park is so huge that you can make a whole day of your visit! This park is nationally registered as a natural landmark, so it’s usually busy, but admission is free. Your pooch is welcome to join you in the glass-enclosed terrace café for a bite to eat after your long day! If you’re not feeling a touristy area, swing by Red Rock Canyon instead. The trails in this open space are open year round, and there are multiple off-leash areas.

With countless mountains, trails, and nature preserves at the tips of your fingers (and paws), Green Mountain Falls is a snug little community with a lot to offer you and your pawesome best friend!
