North Cascade

Grab Fido and go explore the Heizer Trail together. This beautiful trail is 5.6-miles long with a 2,473-foot elevation gain, on an out and back route. The trail will take you through a heavily wooded area where you and Fido will be shaded along your hike, plus it will take you along the Cascade Creek. While on this trail, keep your pup on a leash. If Fido isn't into hiking, check out the Cascade Community Park. The park's amenities include a playground, pavilion, picnic area, and large grass space. Head over to the Crowe Gulch Picnic Area if Fido is looking for a nice place to relax with you. The area offers picnic tables and restrooms.

South Cascade

South Cascade

Take a hike along the Barr Trail to Pikes Peak with your furry pal. The trail is 21.3-miles long with a 7,401-foot elevation gain on an out and back route. This trail is known to be difficult due to the steep climb, but it will be worth it since once you reach the summit, you will get a view of a gorgeous waterfall. The Pikes Peak Highway: Cascade to the Summit of Pike Peak Trail sits in the Hurrican Canyon Natural Area and offers a 17.4-mile hike throughout the area. There is a massive 6,509-foot elevation gain and a point to point route type on this trail. The trail will take you through a forest until you reach a summit which tends to be busy with tourist. Make sure Fido stays on a leash when hiking this trail since it does get rocky.

Sunny Side Manitou

The Soda Springs Park is a pawsome area to hang out at with your furry pal. The park offers some great amenities like a playground, gazebo, benches, and picnic tables. There is a paved walking path, and a little bridge to walk over for a good walk with Fido. Memorial Park is a bigger park in Manitou Springs and offers a playground, big grass field, and the Fountain Creek runs straight through it. The Seven Minute Spring Park is right by Memorial Park and offers a nice grass area and a paved walking path around the park that you two can walk along. These great parks are located in Manitou Springs, and only four miles out of Cascade.

Pleasant Valley

Fido will have the time of his life in Westmoor Park with you. This huge park offers a playground, restrooms, tennis courts, and a baseball field. There is a large grass area that Fido can run around, and a small paved walking path that the two of you can use for a walk together. Make sure to bring plenty of water to the park since there isn't any shade available, and keep your dog on a leash while you are here. Located only ten miles out of Cascade in Colorado Springs, your dog will love checking out this amazing park.

The Vermijo Park is a beautiful 4.6-acre park that offers a playground, basketball courts, a baseball field, and restrooms. The park offers a trail that you and Fido can go explore together and get a good day of exercise in on. Bancroft Park is a local favorite park and holds tons of events throughout the year. It offers a grassy field, benches, picnic tables, and a pavilion for shade. There is a small paved walking path throughout the center of the park that you can use for a walk with your dog. Blunt Park offers 3.3-acres that your dog will love running around. The park is filled with basketball courts, a baseball and softball field, soccer fields, and a playground. There is a trail that goes throughout the park that Fido can walk along with you. Located in Colorado Springs, your pup will have a great time at these parks.
