Take a hike along the Barr Trail to Pikes Peak with your furry pal. The trail is 21.3-miles long with a 7,401-foot elevation gain on an out and back route. This trail is known to be difficult due to the steep climb, but it will be worth it since once you reach the summit, you will get a view of a gorgeous waterfall. The Pikes Peak Highway: Cascade to the Summit of Pike Peak Trail sits in the Hurrican Canyon Natural Area and offers a 17.4-mile hike throughout the area. There is a massive 6,509-foot elevation gain and a point to point route type on this trail. The trail will take you through a forest until you reach a summit which tends to be busy with tourist. The Soda Springs Park is a pawsome area to hang out at with your furry pal. The park offers some great amenities like a playground, gazebo, benches, and picnic tables. There is a paved walking path, and a little bridge to walk over for a good walk with Fido. Memorial Park is a bigger park in Manitou Springs and offers a playground, big grass field, and the Fountain Creek runs straight through it. The Seven Minute Spring Park is right by Memorial Park and offers a nice grass area and a paved walking path around the park that you two can walk along.
