Pleasant Lake
The Pleasant Lake neighborhood is located on the south side of Harwich, and is bordered by Long Pond. This is a rural community of cranberry bogs, homes, parks, and opportunities for swimming or boating on the lake. The neighborhood is also home to Hawksnest State Park. If you and your dog want to escape into some peaceful nature, you’ve come to the right spot! This rustic park doesn't have an amenities, but it has plenty of trails meandering through the woodlands and ponds. One of the best things to do in Harwich is taking a stroll on the Cape Cod Rail Trail. This is just one of the many trails supported by the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, and it passes right through the Northwest Harwich neighborhood.
