Kealakekua is a lovely town in Hawaii where you will find plenty of natural beauty for you and your pet to enjoy. If you are moving into the area, there is plenty of dog-friendly housing both for sale and for rent that you will want to take a good look at. If you are looking for a place to visit with your dog, Clarence Lum Won Park is very popular with the local dog walkers. You will find dogs of all sizes checking out the grass in this lovely little park. Dogs are a welcome sight as long as they are on-leash and everyone is careful and considerate when cleaning up after themselves and their pets. Dogs should also be comfortable sharing the park with other pups and children. 

Kealakekua is about 15 minutes away from the nearest animal hospital.
