Wailuku was once the hot spot to visit in Maui, but since the rise of resort cities, it has now become a small city to visit and relax in. Located at the mouth of the Iao Valley, Wailuku is great to visit with your pup since it is full of restaurants, parks, and some great hiking trails the two of you can explore. With two veterinarians in town, your dog can get a clean bill of health while you are visiting.

If Fido is itching to get a good walk in, check out Wells Park. This pawsome park offers picnic tables, basketball courts, tennis courts, plus a football and soccer field. Your pup will enjoy playing in the grass at this park. Mokuhau Park is a nice 2.4-acre park filled with a baseball and softball field, basketball courts, restrooms, and a lighted area.

Stop into Stillwell's Bakery and Cafe for a bite to eat with your furry pal by your side. They offer a wide selection of baked desserts and pastries, plus they have a breakfast and lunch menu. This outdoor seating is dog friendly and welcomes Fido to dip into some delicious food with you.

With the amazing parks and delicious restaurants, Fido is going to love exploring and walking around Wailuku with you.
