Haiku is an unincorporated community that is considered a part of the larger region of Haiku-Pauwela. This area is wildly beautiful and full of character and history. The area is home to the popular pup-friendly eatery known as Baked on Maui. This bakery and bistro has several outdoor tables that will be simply pawfect for you and your canine companion.

Maui Kombucha is another great place to get a bite to eat while out with your dog. You will need to have someone with you to watch your dog while you go inside to order, but you can then join your dog at one of their two outdoor tables while you wait for your food to arrive. They have many vegan dishes to complement their Kombucha menu, in addition to salads and sandwiches.

The nearest animal hospital is 15 minutes to the south in Makawao. This short drive makes it easy to get your pup the care he needs, whether you need to update your vaccination records or seek out more specialized care to keep your dog in tip-top shape. Just make sure you keep your rabies vaccination current. Rabies tags are a must when walking through the town of Haiku and Haiku-Pauwela.

    #5 Twin Falls Maui Waterfall

The Twin Falls Maui Waterfall is a breathtaking stop on your way along the coast of the island. It is the pawfect place if you have been driving all day and need a sight for sore eyes. You and your pup can walk right up to the waterfall and sit and cool off in the mist while you take all the pictures you like.
