Aloha! My name is Matt. I am 32 years old and I absolutely love dogs! I have walked dogs in shelters since I was a teenager. It would be my pleasure and an honor to help your dog by taking him/her for a walk! I assure you they are in good hands.

“I love dogs and will treat your pup like my own.”
Hi, my name is Ashley and I am a lover of all animals! I grew up in a household where we always had a dog and spent time playing with them outside. I have spent time around multiple breeds of dogs and am always looking up facts to make sure I am prepared for any dog I am with. I have my own dog( Tibetan Terrier) that I have raised and trained for the last 5 years. I look forward to spending time with your best friend!!!

Lanai City is a small town in the center of the island of Lanai in Hawaii. This town has a little bit of everything for both pooches and people. Dog walkers find plenty of beautiful spaces to explore with their pups. From forests to residential streets to a short day trip to the beaches along the coast, there is something for every dog in Lanai. Lanai City requires dogs to be on-leash when out of their homes and yards in town. You will also want to keep your dog close to you so that you can monitor his stress response when meeting new dogs and humans.
Dog walkers in Lanai City often head to the beaches just twenty minutes away. Most of the rest of the island is wild and open land, which you can explore as long as you clean up after your dog and obey all posted signs. Some of the land is protected by the government, so you and your dog will need to be mindful of this as you look for places to explore. Hulopoe Beach is a twenty-minute drive south of Lanai City and is a great place for fur-babies who love the water and humans who want to try snorkeling.
North Lanai City is a quiet place where you will find just one road stretching the length of the town. Kanepuu Highway makes commuting fairly easy for families, especially those that prefer to live away from the hustle and bustle of the local beaches. Your dogs will enjoy Hulopo'e Bay Beach Park, a lovely spot for you and Sparky to roll around in the grass or have a family picnic complete with snacks for both you and your dog to enjoy. The sunshine is abundant, as is the fresh air. Just make sure you bring your clean-up bags to keep this paw-adise pristine!
Central Lanai City is a small but robust neighborhood with plenty of room for you and your dog. If you prefer suburban living, this is the neighborhood for you. You will find local parks and dog-friendly spots that you can explore on a Saturday morning. Blue Ginger Cafe serves American and Pacific Islander dishes where you can spend time with your dog on the outdoor patio. You can enjoy anything from omelets to shrimp, stir-fry, or roasted pork. Your dog's tail will be wagging when he gets a sniff of this decadent cafe and the treats that await inside.
West Lanai City is a quiet place with very little development. You will find a local baseball field just a few minutes away, which you and your dog are welcome to use to play fetch as long as you have plenty of waste bags and there are no games being played that day by the local teams. Dole Park is a few minutes farther east, and you will find this is a great family-friendly place for you and your pawesome buddy to have a picnic or throw a tennis ball around. Just keep plenty of doggy waste bags with you and clean up before you leave.
Lalakoa is a suburban neighborhood with plenty of dog-friendly real estate where you can grow with your family. The neighborhood is welcoming and has plenty of walking paths and green spaces in between the streets where you will find children and their dogs playing on a warm weekend. Cafe 565 is a quirky little eatery with dog-friendly outdoor seating where you can enjoy anything from subs and pizza to Mahi Mahi sandwiches. Just make sure you have plenty of waste bags in case you have to take your pup on a quick spin around the block after you finish your meal.
South Lanai City is a rural area with mostly open land for you to enjoy. It is the pawfect place to explore with your pup after a long day at work or after a stressful week. If you are in need of some rest and relaxation, you can hop in the car with your waste bags, towels, some snacks and some water and head out to Lopa Beach. While the beach is about an hour's drive away, it is well worth the trip if you want some sun and surf with your adventurous puppy pal. Just make sure you have your leash or harness with you.
