Hi! I'm Beth. I started my own dog walking & pet sitting business at the age of 9. I started with 1 dog and quickly expanded my business to more than 10 regular clients. Since then I've been the owner of 2 dogs and 3 cats. I've also volunteered as a foster parent to sick dogs who need a safe & quiet place to heal. I'm an avid walker, averaging 3-5 miles a day. Your furry companion will be safe, happy and tired after a daily walk with me. I look forward to meeting you and your 4-legged loves.

I have walked dogs in Chicago and San Francisco, and helped many of their owners as well. Dogs have taught me so much, they are great role models! I'm also trained in Cat and Dog CPR!

Kahului is a city located in Central Maui, Hawaii, that hosts the island’s main airport. This town isn’t generally a tourist destination, so it’s a great way to escape the crowds while still enjoying the many parks and natural beauty that Maui has to offer! There are plenty of amenities in this city, from eight veterinary clinics to shopping malls, meaning you’ll have everything you need to raise a happy, healthy puppy in Kahului.
A pawpular area for dog walkers to enjoy the local beauty is the Kanaha Pond State Wildlife Sanctuary. This 143 acre wetland area is a breath of fresh air in the middle of urban Maui. This waterfowl sanctuary is home to some of the endangered Hawaiian bird species, including the Hawaiian Coot and the Hawaiian Stilt. There are trails and benches winding throughout the park where you can take in the sights, and your dog can take in the smells. Leashed dogs are welcome in the park, but don’t forget to pick up after yours!
Kahului knows how to show hospitality to all kinds, including the four-legged. The Original Hawaiian Shrimp Truck has dog friendly picnic tables that offer views of the West Maui Mountains. They’re famous for their Hawaiian-style shrimp, but offer a delicious steak plate as well!
With all of these tropical views and flavors you can enjoy with your dog, Kahului always gets tails wagging!
In the Town Center of Kahului, you can find a beautiful beach where you and your pooch can kick back and relax! This peaceful sanctuary offers clear waters and views of the mountain valley. Here you can have a picnic under the shade trees, while watching the kite and wind surfers. The beach also features a volleyball court and restrooms. Dogs are welcome on the beach, as long as they stay leashed and are picked up after. If you’re in need of a pick me up, you don’t need to go far! In this neighborhood, you can find what’s ranked as the number one coffeehouse in Kahului. Maui Coffee Roasters offers Hawaiian flavored coffee and have two dog friendly outdoor tables!
Locals and dogs of this area of Kahului don’t need to go far to get off the pavement and into some greenery! This neighborhood is home to two great urban parks, the Kahului Community Center Park and the Lihikai Park. The larger, 34 acre Kahului Community Center Park has plenty of athletic fields where your doggo can stretch his legs if there are no games in play. There are picnic areas and a walking path to enjoy as well! The Lihikai Park is only 1.4 acres, but has lovely greenspace and trees where you and your doggo can relax. Both of these parks have restrooms, and welcome leashed dogs!
The neighborhood of W Kaahumanu Ave / Mahalani St is home to a furtastic treat! It’s in this neighborhood that you can find the Keopuolani Regional Park. For dog lovers, the best feature of this regional park is the off-leash dog park! The dog park can be accessed from Kanaloa Avenue within the park. Here you can find a safe place in Kahului for your dog to run and play, and maybe even make some furry friends. There are two separate fenced in areas for large and small breeds, and drinking water for dogs and their humans. Leashed dogs are allowed to enjoy the surrounding park and trails as well. To see some of the local flora, take a walk through the Maui Nui Botanical Gardens located within the same park.
Just a hop across the border to the East of Kahului brings you to the small bohemian town of Paia. This town is full of charm and colorful storefronts, and is located along the iconic Road to Hana. Here you can take your dog along while you enjoy the sand and surf! Baldwin Beach Park welcomes leashed dogs. This scenic tree lined beach also has sports fields, picnic areas, and restrooms. If you and your doggo need a boost, head over to Honolulu Coffee. This coffee shop has outdoor dog friendly tables, and serves coffee made from the locally grow and world renowned Kona bean.
Just west of Kahului brings you to the town of Wailuku, and closer to the gorgeous West Maui Mountain Range. In this area, you and your adventure pal can find plenty of areas to explore the tropical wilderness of Hawaii. From the neighborhood of Waihee Waiehu, you can get to the Iao Valley State Park. In this park, take a hike through the local Hawaiian flora along the Iao Needle Lookout Trail. Here you be able to see the famous Iao Needle, a 1200 foot high peak created by erosion over thousands of years. While your pooch takes in the scents, you can take in historical information about the area from signs posted along the way. Dogs are welcome to enjoy this park as well as long as they stay leashed!
